Program and Services

Food and Clothing Assistance

Our Food Pantry services provide a five-day supply of food once every month (based on resources available) for anyone who come and register with our pantry. Our food supply includes fresh meat and eggs.  If a household need emergency food, we will provide it if we have the resources available.

To register for the monthly food distribution,  clients must bring their Florida ID and proof of income if any.

Our Clothing Pantry is open to anyone who stop by seeking clothing during our hours of operation. There is no restriction on the frequency of obtaining clothes from the pantry. We also supply hygiene and household items if resources are available.

Lunch

Our Pantry supply a lunch to the community every Thursday from 11:00 to 1:00. This lunch is free to any low to moderate income person including the homeless. You do not have to be a registered client to receive lunch.

Read and Feed

We partnered with United Way and Powell Subdivision to stop hunger in our community. We are one of various locations helping children with their summer reading for the next grade level, feeding the Children a hot lunch, providing a take home pack of food and a book to build their personal library. We serve children ranging from age 4 to 19 years.

Food Backpacks

Provide weekend food backpacks to students identified by school administrators at a maximum of two designated elementary schools.

FarmShare

FarmShare distributes food to the community through its network of food pantries across the state of Florida free of charge. The Edna W Jackson Food Pantry is one of these locations.

Homeless Program

We visit a homeless camp in Brevard County at least once a month to provide a hot meal, give personal hygiene items, shoes, clothes, and prayer to those who desire it. We often find homeless children at these camps and try to reach back with them throughout the school year.
